Watch out for motorcycles.  Governor McCrory proclaims May Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. Longer days and warmer temperatures mean that more motorcycles and mopeds will be on the road. There are more than 400,000 drivers licensed in North Carolina with a motorcycle endorsement. Last year in North Carolina, nearly 3,500 people were injured in crashes involving motorcycles and 147 people lost their lives. As a reminder, please watch for motorcycles and safely share the road!
